Description

With Fluke's 620 LAN CableMeter one person verifies each connection as he goes: the 620 does not require a remote unit at the end of the cable. Save time and money by testing all LAN cable types: UTP, STP, FTP, Coax; two, three or four wire pairs in twisted pair cable; and all category UTP cables and hardware. The 620 verifies end-to-end connectivity per selected wiring standard to detect wiring problems such as opens, shorts, or miswires (crossed-, reversed-, split pair). The 620 locates wiring/connection errors (distance to open or short) and measures cable length. It is easy to use: a single rotary knob selects the test, and a two line LCD display with backlight delivers your reads. Plus, the 620 is lightweight and handheld, and delivers a long battery life of 50 continuous hours.
